Flexability Advice Please

Post by Charlotte4 »

I finish at 13:50 and then have my meal break until 14:30.

What notice does my manager have to give me to make me work the 30 minutes flexability if I cannot finish by 13:50

Thanks

He can ask you anytime to work the 30 min, but he can only ask you once a week, and he has to give you the 30 min back in the same week, also it's entirely voluntary(he cant make you do it), and you should not be taking the whole of your break at the end of your duty, you can have 20 min at the end, but not the whole amount.

Also the 30min extra can NOT BE IMPOSED WHILE OUT ON DELIVERY AS FACILITIES LIKE TOILETS ARE NOT IN REACH IT IS A THREE AND A HALF OUR DELILVERY SPAN!.

according to your question, your manager cannot MAKE you do anything.
The 30 minutes flexability (pressumably) your manager is refering to is VOLUNTARY not COMPULSORY the choice is yours
Confused... You won't be, after the next episode of. SOAP

Perfect reply mate.
30 minutes flex is for EXCEPTIONAL circumstances ie pipeline problems / vans breaking down etc.
Any duty going 30 minutes over his/her time on normal days needs seriously looked at.
