nhs d2d

Post by jaf73 »

This week ive had nhs d2d that are paying 4p per item has any one else had then because ive found them to be a complete nightmare reason being that they have a tape measure in 2 see whether your fat or thin. The problem i had with them is that they are impossible to feed into your fitting with your mail if you do manage to feed them in your bundles are just ridiculous .What ive had to do today was once i had finished my walk was to go over the ground again just delivering these d2d of course im booking o/t tomorrow but why does royal mail take on such a contract knowing how difficult they will be 2 prep.I did raise the point to my manager and asked him what contingency plan he had in place for walk holders to cope with them but as normal i was told by him `i will get back to you` which he never did typical hit a problem ignore it and hopefully it will go away.So anyway folks be warned if you get them your going to struggle big time

PROFIT

Service Levels worse than 5 years ago (not including the QS targets which are IMHO a cop out).
Bags Heavier (even the propaganda sheet says so).
D2D levels increasing but no raise for us.
Morale at rock bottom and falling
Sick Levels at my DO steadily rising.

But as long as the balance sheet looks good and the head count is being reduced the Big bosses will be happy.

Sounds about right we have had some knightmares in the past i remember bath sponges and shampoo samples being very hard to handle and the deliveries were shorter then.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........
