Re: HELP!
I would post in the nearest post box to the office and tell them thats what you did first thing monday as you did not want to take it home and they can retrieve the bundled mail before proper collections begin if they wish

Re: HELP!
No, u need to go and put it in 1 of your pouch boxes. Taking it home is sackable. You need to write a note on some paper and put it over the mail, write on why it was left and your manager will have to report it as a failure on monday. Thats what I would do anyway. Also from now on always speak to a manager with someone there, preferably your union rep. Also I would put a complaint in on the grounds of health and safety, as someone should be there when you return to the office.

Re: HELP!
Don't wait 'till Monday. Email them now. It'll prevent any risk of you being accused of choosing to take the Mail Home. Rather than being told to do so.

we have a garage up the road from the depo where we put the bikes if the place is closed we leave any mail in the bags in the garge marked up cut off. i would never take the mail home i would off call the manger up on his mobile at home and asked what to do.
