About the bonus in tomorrows wages
As we all know tomorrow we are being paid £400 bonus, pro rata for part timers.
This bonus i am led to believe is a dividend from shares?
If this is the case then the tax we pay on this bonus will only be 10%
Please correct me if i am wrong,I hope not.

Re: About the bonus in tomorrows wages
They are not real shares, I think it's taxed normal rate along with the rest of your wages

Re: About the bonus in tomorrows wages
Andy, you have been at royal mail for just over 6 months and made full time already, that is a bonus in itself.
Our office we have had nobody made full time for over 3 years, just 25 hour contracts replacing anybody who leaves.
Us full timers down to the bare bone.
In 15 years morale has never been so low

Not sure on this one as I thought for the colleague shares ones you had to be in post in Apr 08 to qualify.
This is why I disagree with the whole idea of bonuses, too many hoops to jump through to qualify. Put it into basic pay instead.

TBT (in my opinion) is correct. No CS Bonus unless you have been at Royal Mail for 12 months (Apr 08)TrueBlueTerrier wrote:Big Daz wrote:andy.m wrote:I joined royal mail in november 2008, on a part time contract. I was then given and full time contract about 2 months ago. will i receive any bonus?

You'll soon know - but I imagine it will be calculated April to April - the financial year end so I would think £250.ghostgirl wrote:I have been at royal mail for 18 months...was on a 25 hr contract until about 4wks ago when I got a 32.5hr contract - will I get £250 or £325...thks
