Will i get a bonus

ive been working for royal mail since feb last year last year i was on a 1hr contract this year since january i have been on a 24 hr contract.
i believe i will be entitled to 240 pounds as a full timer gets 400.

am i correct in this or have royal mail got a special clause they make up as they go along, like no holiday pay for 1 hour workers who do more?

Us part timers get pro rata for the bonus, should be around £200 but we get taxed on that so slightly less than £200
Yeah you'll be getting it too this friday

cheers for that, why wouldnt it be 240 if it pro rata and 40 hrs=£400, is their a reason for this?, yes evil tax robbers

Hmm aye then again like cos I've just checked my wage slip from a year ago and I got £233.57 colleague shares group dividend so should be roughly the same this time

theirs always a chance i might chase royal mail for their unfair holiday pay for last year as a 1 hr contractor averaging 20, i see someone has won against them in court on here so hmmmm :cfo

I would be surprised. It should be taken from your pro-rata hours now. But ya never know ;)

according to the letter i got it's pro rata for those joining after april 2008! so everyone is getting some of the bonus

But how much?
Please bear in mind, that some people are on 1hr Contracts. So I wouldn't put it past RM, to try to give them 1/40th of the Bonus.

If that happens: Then in the light of the recent case against RM, which the Part Timer won. It would IMHO be worth trying to get a proper Bonus. Anyway: We should all know by tonight.

im in shock tbh, my bonis was 16 quid higher than expected

, i bet i have it removed in next weeks pay lol

the 1 hour contractors have been paid pro rata by the looks as a fellow worker who averages 30 hrs got 300 quid
