Might be wrong, but if its stamped with TNT postage then its downstream mail, which aparrently RM delivers at a loss, so I assume that TNT and any other competitor is making profit?

On the small white label you get on your d2d bundles we seem to be getting quite a few with TNT on them.

Ah im with ya, Im sure if I remember, on the payment docket we fill in for D2D's it also states them as TNT media too so I would imagine TNT see RM as a bunch of mugs to deliver them cheaper lol
The way I see things from a neutral perspective, even though RM lose revenue distributing, they are advertising themselves when delivering, maybe then gaining more custom (albeit custom that brings in negative revenue ) :lfo :mfo :cfo

It could be different from region to region,but i seem to recall we used a company called
Circular distribution,which was bought out by TNT.
So in effect they have the contracts and use us to deliver them,this could be really interesting if/when
the CWU have to negotiate a new deal,and possibly why nothings materialised so far.

I think that while some businesses input their Door To Doors to Royal Mail direct others send them via 'TNT Doordrop', 'The Leflet Company' or another such agent.

Its bad enough to have to deliver DSA but allowing access to our D2D work is just going too far

By upping our D2D limit it takes work off them,mailers will come directly to us.

Come directly to us?? I don't think so TNT would charge them less than we can charge them! Just like DSA.

Good point .We don't have to deliver the leaflets at a loss unlike the letters . OR DO WE ??
