BULLYING CHECKLIST RESULTS

If you answer yes to 10 or more of the questions above the chances are high that there is bullying at your workplace.

If you answer yes to 20 or more of these questions then there is certainly some serious bullying going on at your workplace and you are probably being targeted.

If you answer yes to 30 or more of these questions then you are quite likely to be the target of a pathological, serial bully. YOU NEED HELP.

Sounds like a normal day working for Royal Mail. Guess most of us have undergone most of those things on the checklist.

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Is this some sort of management check list, to let them know their targets for bullying, things are so bad in my office that the ADOMs are requesting to be moved because of the DOM.

Mortified that you suggested such, as if, it is purely as the title states WORKPLACE BULLYING CHECKLIST which in it's origins stemmed from a group called SAEBOW South Australian Employees Bullied Out of Work. Really doesn't matter which country you are in bullying and harassment are the same the world over in workplaces.

Can't argue with you there on your summations. :wave

There's a saying that "bullied victims are weak"
And yet targets of bullying have no interest in power or exercising power. They go to work to work and they are not interested in office politics or conflict. Targets of bullying have high moral values, vulnerablity (e.g.need to pay the mortgage), a strong sense of fair play and reasonableness, a low propensity to violence, a reluctance to pursue grievance, disciplinary or legal action, a strong forgiving streak and a mature understanding of the need to resolve conflict with dialogue. Weak people disingenuously confuse these traits with weakness. Targets of bullying will withstand daily abuse for months, often years, but the first time a bully gets a taste of their own medicine they immediately run whingeing to authority for protection. That's weakness.
