Walk Tested

Because I break off, or cut off or work to time, whatever you want to call it quite a lot I have now been threatened with a walk test.

Now I have no problem with this except the actual round is not really the problem. My problem is that I have a 5hr a day contract which requires 30M travel time to and from the delivery area (one hour in total). With 30M meal relief, this only leaves me the full 3H 30M delivery span. To complete, nothing can go wrong, and the day cant be very heavy. (Obviously Pegacrap is worked out on a very light day). Basically there is NO ROOM WHATSOEVER to play with and I am sick and tired of working for free once the delivery time has elapsed just to appease the Line Managers.

I cant seem to communicate with the Line Manager that to complete I need to walk through the gates at my start time of 9AM and jump into a reving up van with my bicycle, bags and specials already prepped and waiting for me inside the van. Obviously people who use their cars seem to manage and so I must be dragging my heels. (ah but they do not need to use a bag drop area do they doh!)

How should I go about this, I know if I continue to break off I will be sacked (one way or the other). My manager just cannot understand why I need to claim overtime or why I need to cut off. I cannot understand how they are a Manager.

Any help to regain my sanity, or of course any ammunition would be appreciated.

Trouble is I am on a different delivery all the time, this is just the latest episode on this walk. Been on it two weeks now from scratch and am covering annual leave. (Never did it before).
