Re: Buy out
I wouldn't lend this Government a single penny and I don't see any of the main lenders doing it but I could see Ocean Finance giving them a consolidation loan
(you may lose your country if you do not keep up payments secured on it
).

Re: Buy out
Well-just back from holidays, and cannot believe the "expenses'claims put in by our illustrious leaders---no wonder our pensions are down the tube.but I just love the new terminology coming in to play! they don't fiddle--they make honest mistakes, or inadvertant submissions. As we are sort of Government employees, we surely could 'inadvertantly 'claim
massive overtime ,claim 500 bus trips back to to office per week, and 100 quid a day for total sun block.

Re: Buy out
Hello Stokes, good holiday i hope, anyway hows this for an idea, instead of the CWU just loaning the government the money, if your calculations are correct, surely the CWU should just purchase the stake itself, hey presto, blueprint for delivery could be pushed, seat on board etc, pay rise given, shorter working week etc, a way forward for all?

Re: Buy out
if CWU have say 390k members x say 100 pounds each and that is about 39 millons pounds would that be enough to buy a stake at Royal Mail. Probably not though.

Re: Buy out
I think it's a good idea now, put up the money and then get on the expenses gravy train

Re: Buy out
Think I might 'accidentally' claim bogus child tax, working tax, unemployment and disability benefits...... well its an 'honest mistake', just like our government made honest mistakes claiming £3,450 for a pack of £5.99 daisy bulbs for her garden
This country is absolutly shte now, why on earth it is immigrant capitol of the world is beyond me
