Post by morleyposty »

i need to clear up a few things on holiday entilement.

i asked my dom on how many days im entitled to per year he goes it's 18 but when i rang the HR department they informed me on the phone it was 22 days per year.
im only p/t 20 hrs pw, wed-sat.
bank holiday mondays i cant have as im contracted to work wed-sat thats what my dom said but bank holidays are statutory arent they not?

basically whats the response like if i write to HR dept with a quiery?

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

I dont think you are entitled to bank holidays if they do not fall on your working day but HR may be suggesting that 4 of the 8 do. Working it out in my head I see you are entitled to 22 days, HR are correct.

Of course (4 days) are set in stone (New Years Day/Good Friday/Xmas Day/Boxing Day) + your 4 and a half weeks (18 days).
