Posting start and end time?

7am - ?

I know we are not supposed to deliver before 7.00am but what is the official end time. My postman turns up 8pm quite often. Once 9:30pm on docket!

It's 2pm for towns and 3pm for rurals, it's all laid down in the license.

So what about if your on overtime doing a second a walk? As my office pays 3-4 hours, taking you up 6:15pm. In some cases they pay 6-8 hours if you do it all taking you to 10:15pm. Can't do this if you can't deliver after 2pm. Let's say I do a split and fall over at 6:30pm and go hospital etc... Would I be covered or not.

If it's official then of course you'd be covered. Operational reasons would I think mean that Royal Mail would get away with the mail arriving after 14:00hrs. It's just the normal day to day deliveries where the 14:00 & 15:00hrs last letter applies.

The worry you have is if you DID fall/trip/attacked have you got a contact number for the office? Some shut after 12ish nowdays.
