Hi i am new to this site, would just like to ask a quick question? Im on 20 hours a week and this week is supposed to be my work off but i was asked if i wanted to work it and i said 'Yes' unfortunatly. I regret this now because on 20 hours im deducted £6 odd for Income Tax and £7 odd for N.I. Does this mean that by the time i get paid for my overtime next week i am looking at paying out at least £60-80 before i get my pay packet?
I get £156 on 20 hours but after the deductions im left with only around the £130-140 mark thats if i hav D2D's.

Sounds about right. You'll earn 40 hours. Would love to know how you prep d2d's on a 20hour contract though.

You'll technically be doing 40 hours this week and will therefore earn a full time wage which I think is around the £300 mark. I wouldn't know as I'm not full time and I've never only done just 40 hours...
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

well im not supposed 2 start till 10am but on a monday im going in at 9am and starting with my D2d's. I soon book that on docket because i didnt do that for the first couple of months when i was there and they didnt care if i was booking it or not. Today to top it all off i forgot to sign the overtime sheet lol. Looks like il have to do it in the morning, if he hasnt sent it off already that is lol.

OT gets sent off on Saturday morning (along with the D2Ds) so I wouldn't worry about it being too late, if your start time is 10am then just start at 10am, it's up to management to make sure you have sufficient time to complete your duty.

It should be pointed out, it is only illegal if it is a week off for annual leave - if it is a week off because you work 5 weeks on 1 week off it should be ok, as it would be exactly the same as working your day off ( 5 days on 1 day off )......they can re assign your AL if you agree to that, but you can't work for RM during it.
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?
