phoning in sick

phoning in sick

hi can anyone point me in the right direction as to the proper procedure when phoning in sick,1 of the boys went sick in our do and didnt phone in till after 9am which i believe is fine as i thought as long as you phoned in before end of your shift its fine,they are trying to conduct code him,is there a national agreement on this procedure or a local one,hope someone can help

I don't know if there is an official national agreement but we are told we must ring in at the same time as our shift is due to start.

Soon they will conduct us for having a s**t. I mean come on, what sort of place is it that they throw conducts around like it's going out of fashion?

Anyway looking at whats posted it looks like your mate did nothing wrong. Let them conduct him, your pal will win - its now in black and white.

Its RMs new MTSF system of reducing the headcount. Commercial yet sensitive my arse :mad
