signing for O/T after your walk
We were told yesterday by our manager that if were claiming overtime we would have to return to our office after our duty and claim it (would result in 15 mins in traffic) alright for me i have a car. But somone who has no transport how can they get back to office. :lfo :cfo

From Sick Postie in another thread
And you shouldn't do any OT for the b*****ds, just cut off and let them have the problems.
As we are repeatedly told in the press 'All RM want us to do is our job' anything above that is for the managers to sort out.
I couldn't have put it beter myselfWhat part of "Don't use your own car" do people not understand? It is RM's problem to get your bags out to you and to provide enough drop boxes. What will happen if your car is broken into? Will the manager say "Sure he has been using his car to help RM out" Not likely you will be blamed for anything that is stolen. Also have you told your insurance company that you use your car for work not just getting to and from work? If not and you have an accident you will not be covered and what will the loss of your car mean to you and your family? Everyone in your office should stop using your cars it is upto the manager to sort out the logistics of the deliveries not yours. He is paid to manage, let him (I know many managers have problems with managing lol) you are paid to deliver letters stop being helpful to RM they do not appreciate it. Also I hope you are not taking out overweight bags again if you injure yourself through carrying overweight bags all you will get is a shrug of the managers shoulders and a warning if you are off sick with it.
