Bonus in our Office..............not

Found out today that we will not get a bonus this year as our manager sacked someone but the someone won his case, so we had to repay this guys wages what he lost whilst suspended out of our budget!!! Can you believe that?

even if he wasnt sacked would you of still got a bonus??
here in s wales we have never hit the target for a 50/50 bonus

funny how some offices seem to hit it though

or have i been reading the cour-lier too much

We had someone in an office near us that had the same sort of thing but he wasn't sacked, just hadn't been paid an allowance. They were all on course to get a bonus then HR decided that they had to pay him about £3k in back pay and no one got a bonus after that.

We're not getting a bonus in our officer as we were £40k overspent after the first 6 months of the year apparently. Another office about 10 miles away the staff are getting well over a couple of hundred pounds each. Might get a transfer!

been told this morning by area manager my office is in line for a bonus no idea how much yet and dom said there is only one bad week coming thats week 50 whenever that is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Week 50 was about 6 weeks ago. We're on week 6 now.

the fact that your office was over budget in the first half of the year wont stop you getting a bonus, the local element is split into 2 6 month sections to cover for this sort of thing, so for the second 6 if you office was under budget for those 6 months ie half of your full years office budget you should get something, there was a split built in to allow a better chance of getting a bonus, ie if someone was off long term sick and you blew your budget but came back for the second half you still had a chance of a bonus
