overtime and election cards

can any1 explain why if u take the polling cards out on a friday when it busy managers(well so called managers) say u cant claim over time.i took over 500 hundred today and finished l8 like every friday around the same time?

Probably because the national agreement (posted on here) says we get a minimum of 3p per item but more importantly that we get 3 days to deliver them :sad: - so their argument and one which I would not accept is that if you delivered them in 1 day that was your choice and you were not authorised OT.

However see your rep and see if you could argue against it if you have a pattern of finishing around the same time and being OK OT payments.

3) Delivery Specification

Addressed items: delivery to take place within 3 working days from receipt (including Saturdays). (Except certain elections relating to Europe where it may be extended to 7 days from receipt.)
