We are approaching a crucial time in our campaign to stop the Government privatising our Royal Mail. So in the next few days, we'll be really stepping up our fight to Keep the Post Public - and there are some important developments that I wanted you to be the first to know about.
On Saturday, we're running the first Keep the Post Public rallies with the campaigning group Compass. At events across the country, we'll be joined by a whole host of Post Office workers, Trade Union leaders and MPs - all of them passionately campaigning to keep our Mail in public ownership.
We've set up a really easy-to-use tool for you to find your nearest event. Will you join us?

All you need to do is enter your postcode and then sign up to your nearest event - we'll even send you a reminder 24 hours before the event starts. Sign up now:

We're also putting the final touches to a national tour that will go from Land's End to John O'Groats - with a giant inflatable Post Box. It should be lots of fun and really rally the public to our campaign. After all - the vast majority of people realise that privatising the profits while the taxpayer keeps the losses really doesn't make sense.
And that's exactly why we're setting off on a tour from one end of the country to the other, making sure that the public know exactly what privatisation will mean for them - a loss of service and a loss of jobs.
We're putting the final touches to the national tour as we speak and I'll make sure that you get invited to an event when we're near your local community.
We've got an important few weeks ahead of us - let's redouble our efforts and do all that we can to keep our post public.
Thank you,
Kevin Slocombe
