Post by ROSSCO »

I have decided to join the CWU .I am filling in the online form from off there website,but it does not say how much to put in the box for my monthly subscription fees.Can someone tell me how much this is? I am on a 40hr contract.

£2.70 per week for FT with Political levy - if your in NI then you have to elect to pay levy, in the rest of the UK you have to elect not to pay.

Don't pay the political levy until they stop using it to fund the Labour Party. Why pay a political party to attack the working class?

Yes - same for me - if you are FT.
It was £2.80 in 2008, and £2.70 in 2007.

Get an opt out form from your CWU Branch Secretary or Organiser.
I think it is also somewhere on this site.

Found it in the downloads - http://www.royalmailchat/community/view ... =36&t=3855" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Oops that link doesn't seem to be working, but if you look in the downloads
section you will find it.
