, they will do anything rather than help us get out and are long gone by the time we get back in the office ,do they think you will work harder just to cover there arses

We've always been 'watched' Line managers have always stood at the end of the frames casting their beadies!!!!
We also have course have those disco ball type cameras suspended everywhere--don't think they work though!!

We have those cameras too. They're not routinely recording though. It's just when IB are in, investigating something.

Even i couldn't feel threatened that way with our bosses--they've not got the Spark--but back to the original question of being watched--in the old days, they actually used to come into the rest room, when folks were having their breaks,and tap at their watches----this usually started about five minutes before you were due to go back--

Yes, same is in my office, standing with arms folded over there bellies It really does put me off my work when you feel your every move is being watched, not a nice feeling at all. Even when you know you are up to standard it does not help the situation. Is this part of the training ???? And what is it meant to achieve?
Yup--i double endorse that! Basically, the managers ,being bullies themselves, are scared to tackle
the office bullies--they take their miaplaced temper out on the good workers.

It depends on the bodylanguage of whoever's watching you. When IB are using the cameras, it doesn't bother me in the least, as I can't see them watching. There have been occasions in the past, when certain Managers have stood watching us, with arms folded. And giving the impression, that they're just looking for an excuse to pull us. When I've felt extremely intimidated.
I'm not sure I could cope with being watched in that way every day. But it'd be difficult to prove as B&H (specifically harrasment), as they would probably just claim that they were just doing their job.

It really does put me off my work when you feel your every move is being watched, not a nice feeling at all. Even when you know you are up to standard it does not help the situation. Is this part of the training ???? And what is it meant to achieve?
