Heard today that you're getting or got an AGM from London,geordie bloke,good luck.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

He is your new regional operations director they have replaced the old area general managers. Basically he is now in charge of the whole of the midlands and milton Keynes with regards to Royal Mail matters. Wouldt say he is a hardliner or a hawk but he has been repsonsible for a number of disputes in the past including a number of years back when he introduced in Newcastle 3.30 starts which caused unofficial action and he has sanctioned the dismissal of the member in woolwich which has caused the current woolwich strike.
In my experience of dealing with him in disucssions and negotations he is very frustrating as he dont know how to do the deal and when he eventually does he rarely keeps to it. One good thing is he lacks bottle in talks and if the pressure on him he does not like it.
