lots of posts? i'm covering for someone at work this saturday but come to think about it whats the chance that todays mail and yesterdays mail is going to get combined aka being really heavy

well our office will be snowed under thursday was a pretty light day.. but then again not expectin much mail on tuesday so the bulky stuff wil prob come on tuesday..

Hope it's quiet as we were humped today, lots of cut offs and mailsort held back until tomorrow so still looking at a 4.5hrs delivery

Perhaps the manager and his blue eyed boys will have to work past 10.30am to cover our cut offs again.

We never see our DOM on a Saturday anyway, so I guess we will all just cut off on our times, I certainly will anyway, thens its A/L next week !

expecting terrible day as manager was asking everybody to come in at 5,even to start at 12 tonight and go straight through till finish walk on single time

,no takers i'm afraid,expect plenty cut offs

Problem with that is managers dont know s**t.

I'll be starting at 5 and home by 11.15.

Just do as much as you can, and leave the rest. If they haven't bothered to get enough staff in to do the job properly, it's their own fault.

What do you worry for, you're paid until a certain time, you work to that time, job done.

Like any other I suppose - lie in bed watching TV, reading the newspaper with a bacon butty and tea, leisurely bath, perhaps a little shopping, take dog for a walk back in time to watch Liverpool lose midday match

well mine was pretty damn heavy for a saturday anyhow and to add to it i had some catalogues from ambrose/wilson etc to do from thursdays cut off, well i never took em all out and still went over lol, apparently due for a hammering tuesday as well with the mailsort. evil evil post :cfo
