3 weeks...is that all lol? by the way RM only send out a Standard Reference so they wont give a toss if you dont turn up, seriously. And; YOU have to authorise the reference to be released to the new employer AND you get to see it before you decide to release it!

What job did you do before and next job. There will be better and worse jobs and employers than Royal Mail. Don't worry too much about it.
