driving allowance guidence

Post by sedo_striker »

Hiya guys, i am looking for some help regarding a driving allowance.

In round about May 2001, i started driving for Royal Mail and up until Feb 2009, when i moved to the Edinburgh APC, i had been on driving duties all that time.

Now, in all that time i have NEVER been paid a driving allowance, and much to my annoyance i have found out that guys in my old d.o, who joined years after i did, and went on to driving duties, have been paid the allownace and still are to this day.

Now i have driven all the vans they have, in that time, yet i have not been paid a penny.

Do i have a claim to back dated money???

I have just heard that someone else in the EH postcode area got his back dated to him.

How would i go about this and how would i get the ball rolling??

Thanks in adnance.
