It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Unfortnately the Trafaguar Square event has been cancelled on police advice due to the G20 event this weekend as the square is being boarded up.
However the Day Of Action is most definately on. On Thrusday 26th March there will be Postmen and women at every main line station in London including all the following Euston , Kings X , St Pancress , Paddington , Marybone , Victoria, Waterloo, London Bridge , Cannon street , Fenchurch street , Liverpool street , Vauxhall , Tottenham Court road , Stratford , East Croydon , Romford , Watford Junction.
The aim is to give out 100 Thousand leaflets to the public during Thursdays mornings rush hour against the Governments plans for the industry.
In addition the London Divisonal Reps and PEC members will be travelling London to all the stations above on an open top double decker bus displaying huge banners titled LONDON POSTAL WORKERS AGAINST PRIVITISATION. No doubt with the Clash song London Calling blazing out.
To all London members every London branch is involved and have tee shirts , leaflets , badges and ballons for the day. Please join us on the day.
It also our attention in the next couple of weeks is to have a funeral procession at Peter mandleson home address in London where we will deliver a confin to his home address which will signal the fact that his bill will be the death of the Great British Post Office.

damn it! i notice all the cwu stuff is held early, well before 2pm, so those who work at DO's are unlikely to get the opportunity to be involved
