Our DO has rejigged to save 80 hours.2 got EVR costing roughly £75000 to the business.
Just found out today that last week 1st week of new duties cost 129 HOURS in overtime.Where is the business sense in this.
Our office will bankrupt RM if this keeps up lol

Ah there's the rub - the guy banging the drum isn't playing the same tune as the guy doing the dancing. As is so very often the case with the CWU because the communication is poor.

national stance is no agreement to business plan savings. maybe it was brought in by executive action or maybe it wasnt a business plan saving.maybe even the area rep has not agreed to it and royal mail are lying.

Our office has been told its best for us to get an agreement now for savings as we can get a good deal,even though there are supposed to be zero negotiations?? Personally dont think the offer on the table is that good a deal,can anything be done when the majority of office vote in favour? Ps. Area rep also says we can enter into negotiations as he beleives we can get a better deal now!?

I can mate, im at dundee east- 4 1/2 hours are in place at Montrose, by all accounts- they "got a good deal" , and im not joking, or being sarcy.

Last night, dundee west voted for industrial action, tonight, we at dundee east followed through, along with a no cooperation policy .

Why are you doing a round for six hours?. Are you being payed extra or are you in a van.

nae offence, but do you think your dom is gonna put hours back into the office and test walks again- theyve saved the hours and thats that!

More likely scenario is the fact you have signed for a delivery, if you cant do it, your working too slow, pegasus is right if you want to look at the figures, you will be bullied, sorting tests, spied on.

Wake up mate, smell the coffee and get your workmates to do similar.
These smaller offices are shat on regular, but they dont help themselves.

In my view any area rep or local rep who has agreed any agreement on savings has betrayed the entire membership and should no longer be reps under the CWU rules.

The National Policy on no savings is not about whether the deal suits a partiuclar office . Its about making sure we force Royal Mail to agree a National Agreement which protects full time jobs in the future whether thats in mail centres , distribution or deliveries.

I am sick and tired of Branch`s and members who complain about the union when they do nothing to carry out the National Policy. Most of these are in the blame game , blame everyone in oder to defelct the fact that they have done nothing to move this union forward.

In London we expect to ballot all 14000 of our members within the next couple of weeks as we are holding the line and not agreeing savings and if Royal Mail attempt to introduce a revison within any office without agreement we will ballot.

What I say to those offices who have agreed savings , I hope your proud of yourself , what have you gained from it apart from the fact that you have shown Royal Mail that your an easy target and like others have said Royal Mail love to take hours out of offices which give in and dont stand up for themselves.

For what it is worth the national policy is that no savings should be given until we have a national agreement on the future of deliveries , mail centres and distrubion.Every office which breaks that policy makes it easier for Royal Mail to introduce their slash and burn policy and makes it harder for the rest of us to get a national agreement.

Yip its true Montrose,Brechin,Forfar & Carnoustie have all agreed to take it right up the Ar5e

No surprise really these were the same offices who failed to come out on strike last time round
Shame on them-they have learned nothing from the last dispute

Shocking carry on. Ah well they've made their beds, lets hope the traitors are omitted from any benefits gained in future national agreements on pay and conditions. Not going to have much clout on their lonesome are they? hang em out to dry
