Re: DO YOU AGREE WITH LORD MANDELSONS PLANS
vote cast and i'd like to expres my reasoning
regardless of anything else i.e. the pension pot or IR, if the competition had to pay a more realistic price for their DSA work the bank balance would be much healthier. The USO has the word service in it, not competition or profitability, this service incorporates the mail center and logistics and both elements are key, you can't deliver what you haven't been supplied with nor would there be much point in collecting mail if you were in no position to try and get it to its destination
the pension shortfall is based on everyone drawing their pension tomorrow, other than that there i are sufficient funds. An amount of unknown quantity is in shares, which at the moment are underperforming. If you look at the performance of the market over the last 80-100 years it has grown at approx 6% per annum give or take. However if as is the case you zoom in on any 2,3,4,5 year period you will find peaks and troughs that will make me out a liar. Our pension is designed to take these peaks and troughs into account.
if companies have expressed an interest in RM then we should all be concerned that Mandy cant be bothered to discover the reasoning for their interest and what they find exciting and profitable as no one in their right mind buy something knowing full well that they're onto a loser.
There would also be be fewer staff with greater segregation. Fewer staff paying into pensions means a "deficit" which in turn brings us about full circle.
