Thursday is the busiest day at my office, but saturday isn't far off it, although fridays can be hefty as well, but we like you said it's our over active imagination as the mail is dropping off :crazy:

Yep!!!!! It's a clear all out of the mail centres day. Not bad when you think some offices have a short working day. Not in mine though :d'oh!

No not busiest but its far from quiet nowadays. Mon seems to be the quietest day of the week now then it works up to thur/fri when its normally hell.

Ive had a couple of quite ones recently but Sats have got a LOT worse
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Check out the levels of DSA mail on Saturdays. Considering when DSA first started it was promised it would not go out on Saturdays :no no :no no :no no

Yeah Saturday is a lot busier and also a shorter day 6- 12.30 in our office. This means we are getting extended and cut offs and management are threatening to shorten Tuesday and extend Saturday or give a standard 6-2 over all days. Not a popular idea by any means. Also are you being held back in the office for missort runs as we aren't getting out most days until damn near 10.30?

I would agree that it is just as busy as Thursday or Friday.
Is any other offices read out mail volumes on daily basis that dont reflect the real volumes, just so managers can tell you that its a light day and expect more from you.

But its not the mail count that affects how long a delivery takes after all its takes just a long to deliver 1 letter as it does 3, 5, or 8 to one address. Its the attendance and call rates that affect how long a duty will take. When RM accept this perhaps we will start moving forward. :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

busiest days are thurs and fri in our office saturdays are not that bad,but i have noticed most of the mail is rebate.and they always seem to find some other crud like bills.

For us, tuesday is the quietest day, followed by saturday, monday, wednesday, friday, and then thursday. So Saturday is the second quietest. Funny that.

probally 75 % in our office ,are those companys asking for it to be delivered on a sat ?

Saturday is a shocker at our office, as is thur and fri, but since they started asking for lapsing on mon and tue strangely mon and tue have become a peace of piss.

Still aint lapsing tho, we have a good rep
