is there a national agreement on 4 1/2 hr delivery's

the only national agreement is sdd which clearly states 3.5 hrs some units may agree to more BUT WE WOULD WIN ANY DISAGREEMENT on this issue

We are loosing nights and are restructuring some rounds and have been working at a 4 hr framework, that is 3 1/2 delivery and 15 minutes there and back, but the union health and safety rep was in the other day and he says it is 3 hrs. 10 delivery and 10 minutes each way making 3 1/2 hour delivery span.
Where can i find the absolute answer so i can show the manager.

All our deliveries are based on (supposedly) 3.5 hrs on the street and 15mins travelling to duty and 15mins pouch off time a total of 4hrs on the street, they have been since SDD was introduced.

Yes, this is where vagueness creeps in.
Is delivery span just that i.e. the time spent delivering and then 15 minutes each way or is the time from the moment you leave the office door until the time you come back.
The Union Health and Safety rep was adamant it was 3 hrs 10 delivering and 10 minutes each way making 3 and a half hour delivery.
To be honest i am still confused, help !!.

The official reckoning for delivery was 1st letter to last letter span was 3.5 hours - travel to and from was extra - the new park and loop scheme seems to imply that a 4.5 delivery for each person is the order of the day, thoough whether there is agreement or not I couldn't say.

Not true you should be able to complete every day - no one could say for sure day by day what the volume would be - BUT you should be able to finish on your time evry day.

as i am told (by the guy running geo-route)

15 mins from leaving the office to first delivery point

3.30 delivery span

15 mins travel back to office

with a 15 mins pouching off included

BUT THE 15 MINS TRAVEL TIME IS LESS THE CLOSER TO THE OFFICE YOU ARE SO THEY BASED IT ON 4 HOURS (SO YOUR DUTY COULD BE 3.45 MINS IF YOUR DELIVERY TAKES A COUPLE OF MINS TO GET THERE)
