Swapping contracts

Post by Spedley »

Is it possible for a part timer and a full timer to swap contracts?

Also, I believe that pension is no longer based on final salary. Is this true for everyone?

And putting two and two together you get ...
Can a part timer take over the full time contract of an employee about to retire without any financial penalty?

you cannot 'take over 'the contract
however you could be made full time.
the pension is no longer final salary
however we have lost many full timers and the part timers stay part time
