Pouching off/conveyance?

Hi All - i've recently taken over as rep of out del office and am currently facing a backlog of issues. One is proposed new start times. Now in our office we've never had pouching off/conveyance time at the end of our duties. My area rep in the short time i had to talk to him said that there must be time allocated at the ned of duty for this. Could anybody offer me advice, as like i say this is a new concept for me and i want to know exactly what were entitled to.

I don't know if its national or a local agreement I will try to find out next Monday when rep gets back, but we 15 mins at start and 15mins at end of walk included in total duty time to get back to DO, but we are not accelerated by RM but have to use Public Transport.

Thats interesting.

It takes 10 mins in the RM van to get to the start of my duty, but when I finish I have a 10-15 min bus ride home.

The conveyence at the start is included in my duty time. I actually get 15 mins(10.15 to 10.30)

Should this conveyence time at the end be included in my duty time, or is it only included if you are going back to the DO?

And is this on top of the 10 min pouching off time we get?

At present it is as follows:

1030 - 1400...Delivery Span
1400 - 1410...Pouching Off
1410 - 1430...Meal Relief

We're supposed to get 10 minutes to finish off the paperwork and do the endorsments etc. and 10 minutes travelling time in a van, it certainly adds up and including your break could be over 1 hour

And it's going to get even better whenever they activate the vehicle trackers and everyones driving speed drops to the legal maximum and all the other driving shortcuts are stopped because you'll end up on a conduct charge if you do something they don't like.

They should call this agreement 'The way backwards' since everything about the PDA's for signatures plus telemetry is slowing us down

Conveyance means any walk that is 3 miles away from the delivery office. Do not except any manager that gets in to a vehicle then drives to the start of the delivery round without putting the speedo mileomiter to 0000.
Pouching off, Every day I say to my line manager "assistance" every day I cover myself because daily I pouch off. My work time is that "work time" don't feel intimidated......good luck buddy

well if they run deo-route they have to plan the walk 3 and half hours and leave 15 mins for pouching off
