Career Break?

Do you have to have been working for RM for a certain amount of time before you're entitled to a career break? If so, anyone know how long it is?

I don't know, but I would guess you have to be established, ie at least 12 months.
But maybe someone else knows for definite.

Career Break?

Glad you asked this one Pmn, I know when I started 4 years ago I was told we could have a year off but didn't know if RM still allowed this, I'd be very interested to hear if anyone knows any details about it.

Career Break?

Yes AFAIK it's still in operation. It's called a career break or sabbatical.
You can take up to three years off. I believe it is for educational courses, child care or travelling abroad.
Not for trying out another job as claimed on another site. I would think you have to provide proof of what
you will be doing.
You keep your seniority up to the time of your career break.
I believe you also have to return to work at RM for at least two weeks each year - some people at my MC
have used it to do degree courses and work at the MC during their Xmas break.

I wouldn't know about that.
I suggest you contact HR to ask.
