IMHO what Brand and Ross did was wrong but to jump on some sort of bandwagon, wanting their blood is too much (Andrew Sachs has already accepted their apology which is more than we ever get from RM).

Considering that Saches grand daughter has admitted to sleeping with Brand and is a burlesque dancer, these things should be put to bed. I think a simple reprimand would have sufficed without all this crap that has gone on (very much like RM, trying to score points ).

Not everyone is simply jumping on a bandwagon. As far as I'm concerned. The fact that they thought that it was entertaining, makes them unsuitable for the job they were doing. There is a difference between being "edgy", and simply being crude and nasty. Have you actually heard the show, or read the transcript?

Brand's as funny as Appendicitis - end up switching the radio off after 10 minutes - he trades in that sort of thing - what's gone wrong goes higher than those two clowns - the producer rang up Andrew Sach's and he wanted it stopped - there's a Editing Executive who waved it through - the buck stops with the R2 Controller - what might work on a Pete & Dud old tape doesn't work on R2 .

She had Brand as top friend on My Space - what they get up to is their business - she's not a stripper though or one step from being on the game as some would suggest - she does have Swinging as a Interest - again that's her business - mind you Dog Bait had that on his profile ! - however it's out of order having everything all over the papers , internet and TV

It seems the norm now to take the urine out of the Mentally retarded (X Factor) Tell old men that their grandkids have been shafted on air, (Radio 2) kill animals on TV for fun, (Desert island Crap prog nameescapesme) show women being raped by a dog, have your privates scrutinised and fondled on TV in a shopping centre, before 9pm so your kids can see strange peoples body parts, show people in wheelchairs as funny (little Britain), get women who don’t feel good naked and whose skin really needs ironing, to have a perm, and strip off in front of a bloke with a camera whose she’s never met before, and all this in the name of entertainment.

Personally, I've never liked Brand. But I made a point of finding out what actually happened on the Show. Rather than just count on the Press, who often sensationalise these things.

I must admit, that I do like Ross though. But just because he is talented, it doesn't excuse his actions in this case.

I don't know the exact details of the phone call except that they apoligised and it was accepted by Sachs so that should have been the end of it.

Personally, the racist comments on BB was much worse than some silly prank call and I think that if it had of been someone who was less liked then the whole situation would have been different (I can't imagine that if the same call had been made the Jim Davidson the same outcry would have happened).

I only watched the first couple of series of Big Brother, as I found it interesting as an experiment. But the novelty wore off by then.

As for only fans listening to the show: A lot of people (including me), tend to leave a particular Station on, because they don't want to miss the next show. So they could have caught the end of it.

Far more important, though. Is that Brand and Ross, thought that what they were doing was amusing. And Radio 2, actually allowed it to be broadcast. That kind of thing, can't be allowed to happen again.

So, because there are far worse things happening in the World. You think we should ignore the continued deterioration in the moral standards in our Country?

We all know, that there are terrible things going on, around the World. There are also terrible things happening locally. For example: Someone was recently murdered in her Home, not far from me. There's Drug Dealers, plying their trade within walking distance of my Home. There's kids with knives, and so-called Joy Riders. The list is endless!

Few people have respect for their Country, Community, or even themselves. They think it's ok, to deal drugs openly. And threaten anyone who tries to do anything about it. Where are the good role models for the Youth of today?
They are few, and far between. And yet, there are people getting huge wages, the adolation of millions, and setting a terrible example. Is it any wonder, that these atitudes, are becoming the norm?
