Day of in Lieu

I have a day owing due to my normal day of falling on a Bank Holiday.

As this is not annual leave can I take the day during December?

By rights you should have it the same week but some carry it as a lieu day myself i'd rather it that same week preferably the next day otherwise your being discriminated against if you work a rotational day then that week others would have had two to your one ! ...but i guess you want it on the 27th

My day off is a Monday but i have to wait till the next year to get them back ( added to my Holiday entitlement) ,No option to take them the same year,So i imagine they will try and say the same to you
