My MP wasn't on the list posted by Big Daz . I emailed her last Sunday, and her name is on the second list above
so it may well be worthwhile writing to or emailing your MP if they haven't yet signed the EDM.

MP's tend to sign in dribs and drabs on a daily basis rather than one big rush, EDM 2136 has been increasing in signatures every day.

EDM 2188
ROMEC EMPLOYEES AND THE CWU
07.10.2008
Connarty, Michael
That this House supports the members of the Communication Workers Union (CWU) in their industrial action against Romec; deplores Romec's introduction of enforced work attendance patterns and callout arrangements, with increased antisocial hours and more burdensome call-out obligations, without consultation with their staff or their union; recognises the hard work that is undertaken by Romec engineers across the country maintaining the Royal Mail estate, and in particular those who do such a good job on the Parliamentary Estate; notes that the House of Commons authorities recognise and have a positive relationship with trades unions and expect all contractors to develop the same positive approach; and calls upon Royal Mail, as the major stakeholder, to assist Romec in returning to negotiations with the CWU in order to come to an agreement that is acceptable to their staff.
