Door to Door Limit

I got back from delivery on friday and to my horror the D2D claim form was on my frame with 4 items for next week.
Has the limit been lifted and if so was this part of the agreement?

I didn't know there was a limit, sometimes I had 5 items

I often have abot 1,500 a week

( that's about 3 for each of the 500 if I've done my sums right )

The current agreement still holds the field and here it is(up to 3 contracts a week max,mon-fri,20% a day)

Maybe theyre messed up the previous week and are trying to get you to do the extra one on the sly.

The door to door number for your frame is on the computer so whatever you put on the form is not neccessarily passed on . It is only a click to confirm. If you do any more that three get confirmation of payment before you do them.

Even if they will pay you for 4, you should not (need to) do more than 3. This is what has been agreed. If we were to do more, any argument we have that we could not do more then 3 goes right out the window if we prove that we are able and willing to do 4. We may be able to cope with 4 for a week or two but could we do it every week of the year? I couldn't.

If you've got different postcode sectors on your walk it could be 3 for each sector, and the three might not be the same?

It could be some for business and some residential, I don't know if that counts but I'd expect the agreement is 3 per address.

i must be one of the few people that actually like d2d's, the more i get the more i earn.

Nope I like them as well. I even do the 20% when my regular cover guy is released and his cover refuses to do it.

Anyway more work on my duty means less chance of more being added especially when "utilising all paid hours" starts to bite on these easy walks.

Cheers johnnyp,I went in monday with a copy of the agreement,and the Rep who already knew the 3 rule,went around and informed those with 4 D2Ds that to leave the 4th(Royal Mail Xmas Casual Recruitment Leaflet).

They can't add any more as most in our office work to time as we are already on phase 3.
4 D2Ds will simply mean we will be working in our own time as some already are.
