When cutting off some posties are told to;
a) Stream their mail.
b) Leave the mail in the frame that they will not manage.
c) Take it all out & bring back what you cannot manage.
Surely there must be some national recognised way of working regarding cutting off or needing assistance
as I was once told by my DOM.
We have been told that if we take it out of the do then we must deliver it. If we bring it back we
will get done for willful delay, which is a laugh since mail is hidden in our do when we have gone out
in case the office gets audited.
Any union rep able to clarify the correct procedure?
