Time we had a new Union this one is rubbish. sold down the river ever time.

Sorry I beg to differ I think we have a good union, when you are in serious trouble as I have been for the last year they have been very supportive especially at local level, national level have been very involved aswell, I had 14 years also.I agree they can't tackle every problem I blame that on lack of resources i.e money mainly.But trust me mate if your taking on Royal Mail you need the backing of the CWU big time, on your own you got no chance, if your not in the union your very foolish.

A union is only a sum of it's part's and thier for it's individual's if we all took as much time as filling in our overtime sheet's or looking on the union board or holliday list as we should all in union buisness for it is our buisness let us not forget this fact!. WE ALL ARE THE UNION FOR DON'T BLAIM YOUR REP MAKE YOUR UNION YOUR BUISNESS AND TAKE A PART IN RUNNING IT AS SUCH!. WE ALL HAVE OUR PART TO PLAY IN OUR UNION!.

Ive got a bunch of miserable moaning members at times, yet not one single one of them has the guts to stand for rep.

Wouldnt even stand when i didnt put back in for the job earlier in the year and they would have had a clear run if they wanted a crack at the job!

I even put up a notice asking for a sub rep and committee members but nobody put themselves forward.

In the end I put back in for the job as the area delivery rep persuaded me to do so.

Now they are moaning that they are being asked to vote on pegasus proposals before phase 3 flexibility is in place as they say that will influence their choice of yes or no vote. They actually impatient to get it in

Surley the later the better? Its RM that wanted this let them come to me when they are ready rather than me as CWU rep go to managment.

All this being in doors doing pegasus is not doing my figure any good!

However im back out on the bike this week then back indoors next week.

Sooner its allover and im on a better delivery and burning off the calorioes the better!
