We've just had the results of our Pegasus review come in and what a disaster it looks.
What I need to know is:
1. Are van shares part of Pegasus?
2. If every duty changes, does there have to a resigning?
3. Can people lose their duties?
4. Can the prep rate be increased to 31 items per minute?
5. Have any other offices had a review only to have it removed and a manual revision done instead?

My office is going to the dogs rapidly, massively overbudget, lots off sick, people not getting paid OT or D2D's.

I really believe that morale on my office would be higher if we about to go over the top in WW1

1. pegasus or Geo-route as it is now known by is only as good as the information that is inputed so make sure the rep is invovled at every stage i.e under H&S a toilette stop has to be planned in, the walks should have there percentage of delivered taken on the heaviest days (usually Wed, Thur, Fri) waiting time for packets, priority services should be 1.7% of time on delivery, your dim should also make sure that the A+ system in your office is up to date with regards to where the actual Del point is,road crossings, pouch boxes etc. the walks should also be sequenced properly as well.
you should also make sure that you get a terms of reference signed of at every stage.
As for van sharing, a town walk is timed at no more than 3.5 hrs so the combined del time should not be longer than 7 hrs (2 times 3.5 hrs).
2. Every duty doesnt have to change to constitute a resign, but a major change (like introducing pegasus) will. (dont forget than you can 'ring-fence' your duty to not be included in a resign)
3.People can lose there duties but that will depend on the outcome of the revision and any surpluss staff come under the MTSF agreement.
4.The prep rate is an agreed level by the CWU and RM so it cannot be changed.
5.budget costs for the particular unit would normallly determine this.

Hope this helps, more answers from everyone else to follow.
If you think they can get away with it then they can! fight for your rights!!

At the moment there is NO NATIONAL AGREEMENT on pegasus and it should only be used as an aid.Get your rep to go through the I/R framework and put in a stage 1 dissagrement, get your area rep involved tell them you don like it and dont want it and agree to a table top revision using local knowledge to plot all duties.Hurry up as it wont be long before an agreement on pegasus comes out of H/Q.

P.S our revision was done as along with most offices in London by table top method.

Exactly that - the Mangement with the Unions agreement where possible decide that a duty will not be entered into a repick for various reasons. Off the top of my head would be:

1. Compliance with DDA.
2. Family friendly pre agreed for duty holder.
3. Needs specialised skills.
4. Attracts a greater rate of pay

I may be wrong on these because I am doing it from memory but you get the idea.

I've just got my hands on my Pegasus review and it's a complete disaster, duties going, vans going lots of duties changing but because the managers says the changes are under 30% it does not warrant a re-sign.

Plus what is the union view on van share?

29 duties are changing out of 33 but the manager says it's only 30% plus the DSM has stated that he doesn't want any disagreement put in over it.

What we really need over here is some sort of union representation not the alcholics they have been sending us recently. :mad

1500 AP's on some duties but done by 2 people out of 1 van  TBH I can't see myself staying if the changes do come in (along with 1/2 the staff), too much work, too many bullies.

Thinking about it - I think I'll go off sick with depression (I scored 84 on the test I took so I should be OK :hmmmm or should that be not OK)
