Well I can hardly wait! There is going to be a massive queue of advertisers for this - let's see - errrr - DHL, TNT, Parcelpost, Home delivery network, City Link, UPS, Fedex - Oh yes I can see this being a real money spinner.
At a time when there is a recession as big as my backside looming, when membership is falling, part time contracts commensurate of course with part time subs, finances once again under scrutiny some wag decides it would be a great idea to have a CWU TV Channel with of course costs involved.
There really must be some egocentric half wit desperate to appear on TV to have come up with this scheme. Channel 167 will really be the one I have at the top of my favourites - I can't wait for the content - I wonder if it will have anything to do with bettering our working conditions, pay, holidays, health and safety, bullying and harassment by managers desperate to maintain some pie in the sky scheme thought up by people who have never delivered anything but rhetoric for their entire lives.
HOW MUCH IS THIS COSTING THE MEMBERSHIP??????????

They have said that Advertising 'SHOULD' cover the cost.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I am waiting until 6pm to watch CWU TV, I am quite excited really. I wonder what sort of issues will they be covering, will they be covering issues such as the bullying and harassment incidents at Burslem and Bristol? Being on TV I think could be a powerful weapon for the CWU and other unions might follow in our foot steps. I love to know what RM thinks of CWU TV

MURDERERS. Need to dispose of a body? Simply parcel it up and post it to yourself via DHL. You will never see it again.

While he was on the sofa he did say he was going to do something about it ( PENSION'S ) but he did not say what he was going to do (ok you don't tell the enemy :cfo & :lfo what your going to do before hand)!. But he did not even say when (same as before) but even allowing for that!. HOW MUCH MORE TIME DO OUR UNION NEED TO GET SOME ACTION GOING, TIME IS SLIPPING AWAY AND EVERY DAY THIS CONTINUES ONLY APATHY WILL GROW!. FOR FAR TO LONG WE HAVE APPEASED THE ENEMY!.BELIAL wrote:Sum total of feedback"Billy on a sofa". Either A.
