I'm overweight non binary and a union rep I've already been told my walk is staying at one hour a day so I can pretend to do my union work. Cheers Dave and Martin . Also I can't believe along with the management how much the lazy sods in shared vans bring back and moan .They don't seem to realise the problems I have

ODM

became

Heavy and Light

became

DM26.........

It's exactly the same. With safeguards in place to ensure it works, you know, like the pilot offices had..

"An increase in the number of Saturdays off for Full Time (FT) and Part Time (PT) employees
and the opportunity to have earlier finishes on a Saturday, subject to local factors (e.g.
Number of drivers. Current Duty Patterns). "

So that's a no then.

I just don't see how any of this will work in our office.

Let the chaos begin

Looks like quite a high reliance on the singleton duties being given a full days work by assisting the struggling duties to compensate for only delivering half of their mail, absolutely no f***ing chance whatsoever of our management implementing that.

This looks like we’ve all been flung under the bus to appease Kretinsky
Spot on. Divide and conquer, kretisnsky is obviously in the Illuminati.

They genuinely must think their members are stupid.

It’s still 3 posties and 4 deliveries.

About time they all resigned.
But they've consigned (or Consignia'd :dance ) the term ODM to the bin and will call this one something else.

Can't wait to see how the attendance structures that wouldn't work before are now suddenly going to.
It genuinely feels that all the CWU have done is kick the can down the road.

Has anyone got the actual link to the LTB/Agreement so we can read the Appendix A they talk about below?

"• There is a comprehensive full deployment agreement which covers all aspects of how
USO Reform will be deployed and you will find this at Appendix A of the attached
agreement."
Basically the CWU has agreed 3 doing 4 with assistance from the singleton duties if they have the capacity to assist. The singletons go 50/50 and assist indoor and outdoor. The number of jobs is based on the 2025 data. CWU say that creates more jobs. Is there really 25% capacity available?
Based on what I see day to day at the moment this won't work simply because there is so little teamwork in the office. It's every postpeople for themselves and god forbid that you do anything not on your duty.

The exact configuration of walk pairings and workload balance between the three duties
will be subject to local knowledge, and planning with best practice shared to the RSGs
and National Delivery Joint Working Group (NDJW)

Zero chance of this being agreed locally.

• DM26 allows for non-drivers to play an active part in all parts of the plan

Saturdays anyone?

The singleton duties in our office are rurals not counting hcts. Rurals won't save much time because they'll still be covering most of the route doing the tracked and first class off the non completed half.

This ODM in our office will be a complete f**k up unless many duties go in. If walks are barely or unachievable with 1 days work then they certainly won't be with 2 days mail. Doesn't take rocket surgery to work that out.

We are all singleton duties with roughly 50/50 van to HCT

HCT duties have been struggling due to amount and size of parcels coming through in the last few years, we had van shares and that didn't work and I can't see RM increasing the amount of vans we have.

Have to wait and see I guess

I can't seem to figure out this new way of working they want, is it 2 shared duties that would normally have a van share on each, but just with 1 less person?

So 2 people would clear 1 shared duty of everything whilst the other person in a separate van clears the other shared duties of 1c, specials, parcels and collections.

Where are the light days they talk about it seems every day will be double at least.

Do you all get the same day off? What happens on Saturday?

im confused here myself, it says walks are being put back in to make 4 into 3 work. Bur then people moan about 3 into 4, is this just a typo or interchanging the term?

Even as a pair now on 2 frames we still cannot complete one full frame each day, while doing tracked 1st class on the other

Please can someone show me where in the full document it states where overtime rate at 1.25 for new entrants will no longer apply. I’ve seen quite a few mention it. Also mentioned by the Courier Checker Facebook page
