They genuinely must think their members are stupid.

It’s still 3 posties and 4 deliveries.

About time they all resigned.
But they've consigned (or Consignia'd :dance ) the term ODM to the bin and will call this one something else.

Can't wait to see how the attendance structures that wouldn't work before are now suddenly going to.
It genuinely feels that all the CWU have done is kick the can down the road.

Has anyone got the actual link to the LTB/Agreement so we can read the Appendix A they talk about below?

USO Reform will be deployed and you will find this at Appendix A of the attached

As a new-entrant employee who does a fair bit of overtime each week, this groundbreaking and fantastic deal will actually result in a £20-25 pay cut each week for me.

The legacy feared theyd be getting flung under the bus to appease the new contracts

This looks like we’ve all been flung under the bus to appease Kretinsky

Basically the CWU has agreed 3 doing 4 with assistance from the singleton duties if they have the capacity to assist. The singletons go 50/50 and assist indoor and outdoor. The number of jobs is based on the 2025 data. CWU say that creates more jobs. Is there really 25% capacity available?

I’m in a similar position, after being promised equalisation for YEARS, I’m now facing quite a significant pay cut. How on earth can the union defend this

thanks for the reply. In my experience many of our singletons will have capacity to assist, but who decides that? Has the Appendix been publised anywhere yet?

So after months of talks we are getting odm under a different name and a pay rise that was already agreed a year ago.

New starters that do overtime are getting a pay cut.

I don’t know about any other office but 4 into 3 in ours would mean quite a few deliveries having to be put back in as we only manage 1 side of the pairing and the 1st class and tracked off the other side each day. How tf are we finding the time to do double that each day under this ?

Are we getting a vote ?

Yeah. The LTB is out 112/26. The emphasis is on local agreement so it's the local rep and the employer to agree. The 50/50 is non-negotiable as is the Saturday arrangements. How much capacity is created by only 50% all products and 50% due mail on the singletons is a good question. The 50/50 rotates and it is only due mail Saturday. Everyone's Monday is going to be near capacity. All unaddressed mail has to be delivered to the contract specification. The CWU say jobs should be created. The CWU say all jobs should be resourced. The proof is in the pudding.

There will be a vote but the CWU are moving ahead anyway. The CWU says jobs will be created and they will be filled. Oddly the CWU said the 2025 data was not good enough but have now agreed to use it. Is there really 25% capacity to use? Martin Walsh thinks there is. Martin Walsh doesn't do our job and couldn't.

Can't access the CWU site anymore to get LTB's so I'll just wait until the link gets posted on here on the LTB page. :thumbup

Isn't this going to be similar to hoping that on a light day people will get back early to help on rounds which have gone out but they never get early? As ever the newbies will be stitched up with extra work the oldies probably now do even less if they only have to take out half their duty each day.
