As said in the title with what's going on in Iran, some places are running low on fuel, I wonder what would happen if Royal Mail runs out of diesel to run their fleets.

Of course it's scaremongering. Trump is launching a land war in Iran. Starmer has the petrol bosses in today to discuss the exact state of petrol supplies. Reeves is telling the G7 to end it's dependence on fossil fuels. Nothing to see here.

It's not really a problem to them, they just give you a bank card and you have to fill up at the nearest Shell Garage, all the petrol vans already do it here. It will cost them a fortune though, cause Shell is one of the dearest and it's the only one the bank cards work at (the rules here anyway).

It's embarrassing that we can't supply ourselves from our own oil fields which has been sold off, talk about killing the golden goose, Norway have a huge sovereign slush fund from the proceeds and it's invested instead spending it.
