Returning to the job on a legacy contract
Was a postie for about 8 years, left for a few years and thinking about going back, is it possible go back to being paid on the old contract that I was on before? Or is there no chance of that

No is the short answer but don't worry, the CWU are working on getting the contracts equalised

There’s no chance of that I’m afraid and you wouldn’t have any seniority either.

I was same, did 8 years left and came back 18months ago, little did I know how inferior the new contract is or how much the job has changed.. You will prob end up working one or two Sundays a month as well, you have no choice in that.. I am currently looking for another job
