Have any other offices had their annual leave picks for next year? Received ours last week and noticed they've blacked out week 35 as 'Christmas Pressure'. It's the week commencing Monday 16th November which is usually available, I think? Just curious if this is the case in other DO's

Don't forget it's not a "Christmas Pressure" bonus it's a bonus paid at Christmas. You don't need to work any differently from the rest of the year, in fact you can be off sick and still receive the payment

We were originally allowed to pick the week of Christmas next year but that’s since been retracted. Usually died off a bit by then but the parcels will keep piling in I guess.

For a long time our manager pretended you didn't get the bonus if you went sick at xmas it was only when somebody did and still got paid that our managers lies were rumbled.

Absolutely it does. The leave arrangements are agreed by the CWU. That's where the problem lies.
