I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I just wonder when the rest of the public services are going to be done over as we have? So "they" can pay themselves even more bonus and the PM can give even more of OUR money to the (W) or (B)ANKERS of this country for doing nothing but gambling with our lives and pensions?

So far no other group of public employees have had their working lives lengthened by five years. However if the CWU fail on this one ,you can bet that our example will be used as a stick to beat others.

It seems very strange that when, at the height of last years dispute, the PCS union leadership requested formal talks with the CWU about the possibility of a joint front ,united action to resist these attacks, not only did Billy and Dave not agree to it, they ignored the offer completely and failed to respond.
So much for our leadership striving to build a broad based campaign.

Whats all this nonesnse from the union about not accepting a two tiered pension for exsisting and new employees? They already have. :mad Back in about 1987 they did just that and POPS was introduced. People enrolled into POPS have £3,328 less pensionable pay (Lower Earnings Deduction) and therefore will be worse off than the others. The blokes down at union HQ want their heads testing!
