Re: Cluster managers and teamleaders
RM wanted Super DUM's in charge of a "cluster of Do's " , Leighton favours the Walmart three layer of management system , too much "treacle `" you see !, RM had a unheard of elsewhere 17 layers until comparatively recently -it was a hangover from the 90's "non -jobs for the boys era " .BB brother wrote:Anyone know if RM are still persuing this model !

RM will try team leaders through the backdoor and always wheel out the Team Leader "solution " when accused of er , inconsistency ,it intentionally sidelines the CWU .
It is wishful thinking on his part , it'll be the Job Club or come back as a WORKING teamleader on postie wages + £40 a week , secondly it saves all those salaries for drinking coffee and going on Ebay, RM can only get rid of so many Postmen by fair or usually foul means . .

Leighton originally did away with several layers of management but very few managers have left RM, so they need to be given meaningless jobs to do until they find an "important " place for their talents. :lfo
Cluster managers are in all over our area and with the workplace coaches now expected to help with the performance issues how long until RM change the job title of coach to team leader and expect them to do more management tasks?

I hope you are not suggesting RM are too tight to pay them up ?borderscot wrote:Leighton originally did away with several layers of management but very few managers have left RM, so they need to be given meaningless jobs to do until they find an "important " place for their talents. :lfo
