I'm researching a (fictional) story to be set on a UK TPO and am keen to get in touch with crew who worked on any TPO service, anytime between 1960s and 1990s. The hope is just to ask some questions about their time working on those services.
I tried at the Postal Museum but they haven't any details and my online searches have so far been somewhat fruitless for first hand accounts - I've also read Brian White's book and watched the Night Mail films but still have a few questions - so I wondered whether anyone on here might have had experience working these services, or know anyone who did? And if so, would you be willing to answer a few questions?
Many thanks

If you can find a copy, there's a DVD called "Special Delivery" which is kinda a combined driver's eye view and fly-on-the-wall style documentary, which followed the Penzance to Bristol and back TPO in the summer of 2003, not very long before the TPOs ceased.

Thanks for this Binsey!
Might you be happy to answer a few questions about your time working on them?
