Not received pension increase today
I got my pension today and there appears to be no increase from last year. It’s the RMSPS part of the pension handled by Capita. It usually increases in April but I’ve had no letter saying what the increase is. Anyone in the same boat?

just checked, mines gone up around £7 so think that's about right for the % increase I was expecting

I’m actually 2 quid down on last month. I expect I might be paying more tax but with no payslip I’m not sure what’s going on.

Re: Not received pension increase today
Yes I think I’ve sussed it now. Any increase in the firm’s pension has been swallowed by the extra tax that needs to be paid on the state pension increase. I’ve just compared my tax codes for last year and this. It’s a shame we don’t get a pension payslip. I’ve not even received a letter from Capita explaining their part of this years increase. I got no letter but a rise of £14. Did Simple maths and it was below 2.7% we were supposed to get. A fellow worker didn't receive any increase.

Re: Not received pension increase today
Hi folks - How much in percentage terms should my pension increase be?
I took medical retirement from RM, and took my full pension from 55.
Last April I was told I didnt get the full pension increase due to "pro rata", I hadn't been paid my pension for a full year at the point of the increase in April. Only took pension from the previious September.
I get a monthly slip from RM since a phone call last year when they put me down for a monthly one instead of a anual april one, but not from the Captta part, I don't pay tax on my pension so nothing is swallowed up.
I was under the impression you only get a statement from Capita when there's an increase in April, I got a letter from the RM side (no detailed info) but nothing at all from Capita, no letter, statement, nothing - yet!
My other half (not RM) gets a pension increase in segments, part of which is a GMP increase. This makes her pension increase double mine, despite her pension being only 20% more than mine.
No such thing with RM pension? Do we just get the flat rate of inflation at 2.something percent and that's that?
They probably calculate it when it's super low too!

Re: Not received pension increase today
It's the rate of inflation the previous September, which is fairly standard for most pension schemes.
Some years you'll benefit from a high rate, other years you might not.
