N.E.C. REPRESENTATIVES ADDRESS..

having read though all of the candidates election address...must say some of them have a nerve... what crap they write.. they sold the members out.
here is my list of the good candidates and the ones i shall be telling all to vote for.
JOHN FARNAN. top man
PETE KEENLYSIDE. good guy.
DAVE WARREN. good guy.

and the thanks but no thanks list.
mark baulch. changed his tune a bit since he got on NEC.
phil brown. a very sly dog.
huw davies. liebour party puppet and i didnt like his jeans at conference.
carl maden. think i would be mad to vote for this double dealer.
noel mclean. sold us out on the pay deal has he got a mind of his own.
davie robertson. have seen the scottish div reps in action.. quick hide your grannies or you might find them sold to royal mail.
joe malone. well as ive said seen first hand what scotland has to offer.. bog all.
as for the rest dont know them so wont vote for them but im sure some of them sold us the members out.....

You probably make the most sound case for having an NEC much smaller. Perhaps we should have regional ballots for a much slimmed down NEC, 1 for Scotland, 1 for Wales, 1 for the North, 1 Central and 1 South. That way we may get more and better class of candidate who would canvas in his own area.

I see Northern Ireland gets left out again well it's really no surprise seeing as that is what normally happens.

I totally apologise and I had intended to include NI and so I do now - NI 1 and because that now adds to 6 a wild card so there is an uneven vote. And that position should go to the candidate, from whichever region, with the highest vote and could go to any region - one of the seven would become Chair and hold the casting vote.

The CWU is far too overcentralized and top heavy which in these days is old fashioned , no doubt RM realize this ? ; go back to the IA vote in 2003 , RM countered the "Honest Al depicted as a spiv " flyers with a Cockney Dave not giving a toss about you boys in the sticks.

This happened during IA with my old union ,the usual right wing propaganda stuff in The Sun about time serving duffers in HQ , their wages coming out of your subs ; and officials in posh cars and in nice hotels whilst we were standing on the picket lines losing money & freezing our knackers off.

The CWU don't seem to learn and it's not sufficent to have all these right on cause talking shops as a nod to modernity , considering the opposition .

The pec is a debating society the only people RM take any notice of is dave and billy how many national agreements have been made with the pec asking for ammendments and RM telling them to fook off a complete waste of time hardly anyone bothers to vote anyway.
