Pay deal negotiations ?
Are these happening ?
Amazon workers got 10% pay rise in September I believe.
Any news whatsoever on this topic ?
I can't be the only one to find lack of communication on this frustrating.

Re: Pay deal negotiations ?
come sept/oct the union will champion a massive 3.5% pay rise backdated with a massive £100 odd taxable lump sum, so will get voted in,
but we will lose either the paid break or delivery supplement to try level out the 2 tier workforce's pay they said would never happen

Re: Pay deal negotiations ?
Rest assured we will get shafted - pitiful pay rise tied to further erosion of our t&c (any we have left anyway).

Re: Pay deal negotiations ?
When most drivers were getting 20% over 2 years we got 8%.
Most have now caught up or passed us, yet our Union still seem to talk as though we are at the top of the tree.
Regarding the pay rise, it'll be 10% over 3 years and you'll loose your allowances.

Re: Pay deal negotiations ?
You could be right, but it was something Martin Walsh said that made me think it'll be a 3 year deal.

Martin Walsh has already admitted that the functional.supplements will be used to fund a pay rise. Workers having to sell their hard fought for wages in a multi-billion pound industry that can pay million pounds wages to some.world class male wrote: ↑08 Mar 2025, 17:14come sept/oct the union will champion a massive 3.5% pay rise backdated with a massive £100 odd taxable lump sum, so will get voted in,

We all know it won't be the CWU members who decide as they don't turn out to vote.Sean06 wrote: ↑08 Mar 2025, 20:02And who gets to vote only cwu members so they will decide either way.not those on these rank an file commities who just union bash without any ideas of moving things forward.world class male wrote: ↑08 Mar 2025, 17:14come sept/oct the union will champion a massive 3.5% pay rise backdated with a massive £100 odd taxable lump sum, so will get voted in,
